Joint Mobile Crisis Response

This program is embedded within the Safe Bed Program. The joint mobile crisis response
worker works in partnership with the mobilization officer of the Ontario Provincial Police
to assist individuals who are in mental health and/or addiction crisis.

ELIGIBILITY
Individuals wo are in mental health and/or addiction crisis and are involved with the
Ontario Provincial Police.

HOW REFERRALS ARE MADE
• Referrals are internal to the Ontario Provincial Police

SERVICES PROVIDED
• Crisis prevention, intervention and postvention
• Education and support to Ontario Provincial Police officers and civilian staff
• Community outreach
• Follow-up, advocacy and referral to appropriate community agencies, supports
and services

Program is offered in the Rainy River District.
