Housing Subsidy Support Program

About the Program
Our Housing Subsidy Support Program provides a limited number of rent supplements to individuals who are homeless, at risk of being homeless or who are living in inadequate housing.

Who is Eligible:
Individuals 18 years and older who experience an on-going mental health disability or are assessed as in recovery from an addiction.  The benefit is restricted to Employment and Income Assistance Participants, e.g. Ontario Works, Ontario Disability Support Program, (ODSP) or otherwise qualify for Rent Geared to Income (RGI).

The Program Provides:

• Funding for Improved Housing
• Case Management Services
• Landlord/Tenant Advocacy
• Home Management Support
• A Recovery Based Focus
